Dear Colleagues,

We will organize the 15th International Symposium on Ticks and Tick-borne Diseases (ISTTBD-XV) from 29-31 March 2023. In light of the coronavirus pandemic and other international developments, we again concluded that our symposium cannot take place ‘as usual’.

Since we do want to give all interested colleagues the possibility to come together and join ISTTBD-XV, we decided to try a new format and will hold ISTTBD-XV as a hybrid meeting! This way we can make sure that everyone can join our meeting, either in person in the beautiful city of Weimar, or digital from home.

Detailed information on the new format will be provided soon. As usual, we will keep you updated on www.ittbd-symposium.com and via our newsletter.

We hope that you will also participate in this new meeting format and support our efforts to ensure the success of ISTTBD-XV.

We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming you to this special meeting!

Best regards,
Ard Nijhof, Olaf Kahl & Jochen Süss
